Here are relevant courses I have taken as a Physics and Mathematics double major:
Quantum Mechanics 2
-
Studied specific topics such as measurement theory, perturbation theory, and scattering theory. Gained refined understanding of molecules and stepping stone for reading condensed matter papers.
Statistical Mechanics
-
Studied partition function, photon gases, and fermi-dirac statistics. My favorite course, along with thermal physics why I am in condensed matter.
Fourier Analysis
-
Formal handling of Fourier series in periodic and continuous functions. Increased scope of applications where fourier series can be used.
Circuits 1
-
Basic circuits analysis with lab, gained understanding of op amps, diodes, buffers, and filters.
Linear Algebra
-
The most impactful course I have taken, applications in every area of academia I am in.
